The Academy at AIRBOSS

The Academy at AIRBOSS is Chicagoland’s Cirrus Training Center located at DuPage Airport (KDPA). We offer training programs tailored to the specific characteristics of the SR20, SR22, SR22T, and the SF-50 Vision Jet, combining knowledge with hands-on practical experience.

Our team of instructors at The Academy are highly experienced Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilots (CSIP’s) and Training Center Instructors (TCI’s) and are passionate about sharing our experiences and our expertise.

Whether training for your Private or Commercial Pilot Certificate, an Instrument rating, a High Performance Endorsement, or even an SF-50 Type Rating, we will tailor the training program and experience to your needs.

Using the training courses available on Cirrus Approach, we aim to improve and educate all of our Cirrus pilots no matter where they are in their aviation journey. The programs cover a range of topics, including aircraft systems and operations, navigation, flight planning, and emergency procedures. Students also have the opportunity to practice their skills in our Flight 1 Tech simulator, a state-of-the-art simulator that replicates the avionics suite of the Cirrus SR G6 Series.
